This data protection notice describes how MSI e-Shop ("MSI") collects and processes your personal data in MSI e-Shop. By using the web pages of MSI e-Shop, you agree to the practices described in this data protection notice.

Email advertising with newsletter subscription
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will use the necessary data for this purpose or provided separately by you to send you our newsletter regularly by email based on your consent in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1, sentence 1, letter a GDPR.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time and can do so by sending a message to the contact option described below or through a link provided for this purpose in the newsletter. Once the subscription is canceled, we will delete your email address, unless you have explicitly consented to the subsequent use of your data or we reserve the right to use your data beyond what is permitted by law and what we inform you about in this statement.

What happens to cookies and other identifiers?

Cookies
We use cookies, pixels, and other technologies (collectively referred to as "cookies") to recognize your browser or device, learn about your interests, offer you essential features and services, and for other purposes, such as:
* Recognizing you when you register to use our services. This allows us to offer you product recommendations, display personalized content, and recognize you as a member of ICM.
* Recording your specific preferences. This allows us to take into account your preferences, for example, whether you want to see interest-based ads or not. You can configure your preferences through homepage.
* Keeping a record of the items stored in your shopping cart.
* Conducting exams and diagnostics to improve the content, products, and services of the MSI e-Shop.

* The cookies of the MSI e-Shop allow you to use some of the essential features of the MSI e-Shop. Does MSI share your personal information?
Customer information is an important part of our business. However, it is not part of our business to sell personal customer information to third parties. We only share your personal information as described below and only with our parent company, Micro Star Int'l, Co., Ltd., or with subsidiaries controlled by our parent company that are subject to this Privacy Policy or that employ practices that protect your information at least as much as those described in this Privacy Policy.

Third-party service providers: We contract with other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include package delivery, postal and email sending, removal of duplicate information from customer lists, data analysis, marketing assistance, provision of search results and links (including paid lists and links), payment processing, content sending, credit risk evaluation and management, and customer service. These third-party service providers have access to the personal information they need to perform their functions, but they are not authorized to use it for any other purpose.

Except as indicated above, you will be notified when your personal information may be disclosed to third parties. In these cases, you have the opportunity to decide not to share the information.

Data Processing by Mondu

When you select a Mondu payment method, your data will be processed by Mondu as an independent data controller. Mondu processes your data to conduct identity and credit checks, assess payment eligibility, process payments, and fulfill its contractual obligations.

Can children use the MSI e-Shop?
MSI does not sell products to children. If you are under 18 years old, you can only use the MSI e-Shop with the participation of a parent or legal guardian. We do not consciously collect personal information from children under 13 years old without the consent of a parent or guardian.

Information you provide us when using the MSI e-Shop. You provide us with information when:

* You add or remove an item from your shopping cart or place an order through the MSI services or use them;

* The complete click flow of the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) to, through, and from our websites, including the date and time; the products and content you have viewed or searched for; page response times, download errors, visit duration to certain pages, and information about interaction with the page (e.g., scrolling, clicks, and mouseovers);
* Phone numbers you used to call our customer service.

We may also use device identifiers, cookies, and other technologies on devices, applications, and our websites to collect information about navigation, usage, or other technical information.

Status of recent orders (including subscriptions);
Your complete order history;
Identifiable personal information (including name, email, password, and address book);
Payment settings (including credit card data and voucher and gift card balances);
Email notification settings;
Recommendations and products you have recently viewed, which are the basis for the recommendations;
Shopping lists;
Your content, devices, services, and related settings, as well as your communication and personalized advertising preferences;
Content you have recently viewed;
Your profile (including product reviews, recommendations, reminders, and personal profile).

How to determine if an email, phone call, text message, or webpage comes from MSI
MSI emails, text messages, or phone calls will never ask for your personal information. If you receive a suspicious message, here are some tips to determine if it comes from the MSI e-Shop:
MSI will never send you an unsolicited message asking you to provide confidential personal information, such as your social security number, tax ID number, bank account number, credit card information, password questions, such as your mother's maiden name, or your password.
MSI will never ask you to make a payment outside of our website and will never ask for remote access to your device. If you receive a suspicious or fraudulent message, do not provide any personal data and report it immediately.

Important - Phone calls:
Although some MSI departments make outgoing calls to customers, MSI will never ask you to reveal or provide sensitive personal information for verification purposes, nor will it offer you a refund if you do not expect it.

Data transfer to shipping service providers
If you have given us your explicit consent to do so during or after your order, we will transmit your email address and phone number to the selected shipping service provider in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1, sentence 1, letter a GDPR, so that they can contact you for notification or coordination of delivery.
The consent can be revoked at any time by sending a message to the contact option described below or directly to the shipping service provider at the contact address indicated below. After revocation, we will delete the data you provided for this purpose, unless you have explicitly consented to the subsequent use of your data or we reserve the right to use your data beyond what is permitted by law and what we inform you about in this statement.
